Tomorrow's the big day to kick off NaNoWriMo - National Novel Writing Month! I am still not entirely sure what my novel is going to be about, so this should be an interesting exercise. 50,000 words in 30 days?? According to them, it's totally do-able. I am going to "believe that they believe", for now. NaNoWriMo has been going on for 12 years - and thousands of authors have "won" (meaning that they finished the challenge)...I am hoping to be one of them!
So, today, I am going to get organized - I have a rough idea of what this novel is going to be about, but today will be spent getting some stuff hammered out, more specifically and more concretely.
